Russians strike Kharkiv with drones, casualties reported

Russian forces attacked the Kholodnohirskyi and Novobavarskyi districts of Kharkiv with unmanned aerial vehicles, leaving people injured.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy attacked the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with UAVs. According to preliminary information, a hit was recorded on a multi-storey residential building," the statement says.

It is noted that medical teams and State Emergency Service units have been dispatched to the scene.

Syniehubov added that medics hospitalized a woman who was injured as a result of the explosion. According to updated information, the UAV struck near a multi-storey building. Cars are on fire.

As Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov noted, the enemy also struck the Novobavarskyi district, hitting a private house. According to preliminary information, a woman was injured.

Later, he added that there are already two people injured in the Novobavarskyi district as a result of the enemy shelling.

As previously reported, in Kharkiv, buildings of the ecological and naturalist department of the regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity were damaged as a result of Russian shelling on the night of March 20; the animals living there experienced severe stress.
