Powerful explosion rocks Belbek Airfield in Sevastopol
A powerful explosion rocked the Belbek Airfield in the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol. Ambulances were dispatched toward the Russian military garrison.
According to Ukrinform, the Telegram channel Crimean Wind reported this.
"Subscribers report hearing gunfire and a powerful explosion at Belbek Airfield. Either a drone was shot down, or it hit its target. But 5–7 minutes later, three ambulances drove toward the garrison," the report states.
It is also noted that Russians are firing at the Kacha Airfield, but have not yet hit the UAV.
An air raid alert was declared in Sevastopol.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a series of strikes over three days against military facilities of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and the Zaporizhzhia region.
