Russia loses 1,710 troops in war against Ukraine over past day
Russia suffered approximately 1,282,570 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and March 18, 2026, with 1,710 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,786 (+3) Russian tanks, 24,229 (+11) armored fighting vehicles, 38,506 (+29) artillery systems, 1,688 multiple rocket launchers, 1,333 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 4,468 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 435 warplanes, 349 helicopters, 184,333 (+1,189) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 33 warships/cutters, 2 submarines, 83,974 (+230) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,091 pieces of special equipment.
