Injury toll in Russian attack on Kyiv region rises to 15, four killed

In the Kyiv region, the number of people injured as a result of a Russian attack has risen to 15, while four were killed.

According to Ukrinform, Head of the regional state administration Mykola Kalashnyk reported this on Telegram.

He said that the death toll has increased to four people. Fifteen residents of the region were injured. Three of them are in serious condition, and two are currently undergoing surgery. All victims are receiving the necessary medical care.

Residential buildings, educational institutions, businesses, and critical infrastructure facilities were hit in the strikes. The greatest damage was recorded in the Obukhiv and Brovary districts. At present, there is information about 30 damaged facilities.

In the Vyshhorod district, a multi-storey residential building and warehouse facilities were damaged.

In the Brovary district, two private houses, a dormitory, non-residential, office and industrial buildings, a restaurant facility, a garage cooperative, and several vehicles were damaged.

In the Obukhiv district, two schools and a kindergarten, three private houses, a multi-storey residential building, as well as non-residential and industrial premises were damaged.

In the Bucha district, a private house was damaged.

“Information about the destruction continues to come in. Unfortunately, the number of victims is increasing,” Kalashnyk said.

Rescue workers, medics, police officers, and municipal services are working at all the sites. Assistance headquarters are being set up, and people are receiving the necessary medical and psychological support.

As reported earlier, Russia carried out a large-scale drone and missile attack on Ukraine during the night of March 14.
