War update: 153 clashes on front line over past day, Kostiantynivka direction most active
On the front line yesterday, March 13, there were 153 recorded combat encounters between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian invaders.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook regarding the situation as of 08:00 on Saturday, March 14.
The enemy carried out one missile strike using a single missile and 104 airstrikes, dropping 307 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians deployed 10,119 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,623 shellings, including 60 using multiple rocket launchers.
The Russian army conducted airstrikes in the areas of Kolomiytsi, Pidhavrylivka, Prosiana, Kryvobokove in Dnipropetrovsk region; Vozdvyzhivka, Liubyske, Kopani, Mykilske, Shyroke, Novoselivka, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Orikhiv, Hryhorivka, Veselianka, and Novooleksandrivka in Zaporizhzhia region; and Prydniprovske in Kherson region.
The aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 10 areas of enemy manpower and equipment concentration, as well as Russian artillery systems.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 153 shellings of positions, including five using multiple rocket launchers, and conducted two airstrikes using two KAB bombs.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, the Russians attempted to breach defensive lines near Prylipka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked twice near Novoosynove and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, the Russian army attacked five times, trying to break through defenses near Drobysheve, Stavky, and Lyman.
In the Slovyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 12 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Zakitne, Platonivka, Riznykivka, and Yampil.
In the Kramatorsk direction, no Russian assault actions were recorded.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 29 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 25 assault actions by the Russian army in the areas of Toretske, Zatyshok, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Muravka, and Hryshyne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked eight times near Oleksandrohrad, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Vyshneve, Kalynivske, Krasnohirsk, and Zlahoda.
In the Huliaipole direction, 20 Russian attacks were recorded near Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Myrne, Olenokostyantynivka, Varvarivka, Zelene, and Huliaipilske.
In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops once attempted to improve their positions near Stepnohirsk.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy did not conduct assault actions.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of Russian offensive group formations were detected.
As Ukrinform reported, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to March 14, 2026, amount to approximately 1,278,430 personnel.
