Air Defense Forces destroy 77 of 94 Russian drones
Air Defense Forces destroyed 77 of the 94 drones used by Russian troops to attack Ukraine since the evening of March 11.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, the Russians attacked with 94 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of UCAVs from the following directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea), and more than 60 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, air defenses shot down/jammed 77 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Sixteen UCAVs hit 11 locations, and downed drones (debris) were recorded falling at one location.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of March 12, a child was killed, and her parents were injured in the Chernihiv region as a result of a Russian drone crash.
