Russians strike Donetsk region more than 1,600 times, damaging houses and infrastructure

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched 1,621 strikes on the Donetsk region, destroying seven civilian objects.

According to Ukrinform, the Donetsk region police reported this on Telegram.

“On March 9, the police recorded 1,621 hits along the front line and in the residential sector of the region... Seven civilian facilities were destroyed, including three residential buildings,” the report said.

It is noted that the cities of Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, and Sloviansk, as well as the village of Raihorodok, were under fire.

In particular, Russian troops struck Sloviansk with an FPV drone, damaging two private houses and two farm buildings. Today, at around 00:50, the enemy attacked the city again, damaging a gas station.

As a result of drone attacks, two infrastructure facilities were damaged in Mykolaivka, and a private home was damaged in Raihorodok.

In Kramatorsk, a UAV hit the road surface.

As reported, the Donetsk region is under constant shelling by Russian troops. Daily attacks by the Russian Federation are directed not only at military positions but also at residential areas and infrastructure facilities, from enterprises to power grids, resulting in constant casualties among civilians.
