Russian forces attack apartment building in Kherson with Molniya drone

In the Dniprovskyi district, Kherson, Russian troops used a Molniya strike UAV to hit a multi-storey residential building, injuring a woman.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson City Military Administration reported this on Facebook.

"Russian terrorists are increasingly using Molniya strike UAVs against peaceful residents of Kherson. One of these drones hit an apartment in a multi-storey building in the Dniprovskyi district today at around 09:00. As a result of the strike, about 30 windows were damaged. At that time, there was no information about casualties," the statement said.

Later, the administration added that a victim had been confirmed following the drone strike on the building. Police officers took a 35-year-old woman to the hospital with blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to the face.

According to the city administration, two more women were injured earlier in the morning in the Dnipro District due to shelling: a 91-year-old and a 58-year-old.

The 58-year-old woman was injured at around 09:00 when explosives were dropped from a drone. She suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the abdomen.

A 91-year-old woman was also taken to hospital after being injured in shelling of the district at about 09:15. She was diagnosed with blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to the chest and shoulder. At the time of the attack, she was inside her apartment. She is currently under medical supervision.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, a resident of Bilozerka, Kherson region also sought medical help after being injured during a Russian attack on March 5. The 43-year-old man was hospitalized with blast injuries and a concussion.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian forces attacked 30 settlements in the Kherson region over the past day, leaving one person injured.
