Sumy border guards destroy enemy T-72 tank, Tiger armored vehicle, and UAV field base

Soldiers from the 5th Border Guard Detachment showed footage of a successful hunt for the occupiers' equipment and personnel in the Sumy direction.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, according to Ukrinform.

As noted, the occupiers lost not only equipment, but also, for a certain period of time, the ability to conduct aerial reconnaissance and launch FPV drone strikes in the Sumy region.

It is also reported that over the past day, border guards destroyed 70 enemy drones in the Sumy region.

As reported by Ukrinform, during the day, from the morning of March 4 to the morning of March 5, 2026, Russian troops fired 100 times on 33 settlements in 16 territorial communities of the region. There are casualties among civilians.
