Russians execute 337 Ukrainian POWs – Lubinets
As of the end of 2025, Russian forces had executed 337 Ukrainian prisoners of war.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was stated on Telegram by Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
“I spoke during the Interactive Dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on torture at a session of the UN Human Rights Council. I emphasized that Russia has turned torture into state policy and uses it as a weapon. According to UN data, more than 95% of Ukrainian prisoners of war are subjected to systematic torture, and as of the end of 2025, 337 Ukrainian POWs had been deliberately and brutally executed by the Russians,” Lubinets said.
He called on the international community to urgently increase pressure on Russia, ensure full documentation of every crime, and bring those responsible to justice.
“This issue is critically important – the world cannot remain on the sidelines,” Lubinets stressed.
As Ukrinform previously reported, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine intercepted an order from a Russian commander regarding Ukrainian fighters near Huliaipole.
