President appoints Ukrainian ambassador to Italy

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Ihor Brusylo as Ukraine's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Italian Republic.

According to Ukrinform, this is stated in Decree No. 217/2026.

“To appoint Ihor Brusylo as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Italian Republic,” the document says.

By decree No. 216/2026, Brusylo was dismissed from the post of deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

As reported, Ukrainian diplomat Ihor Brusylo had served as deputy head of the Office of the President since March 17, 2021.
