Drones strike US Embassy in Riyadh

The drones hit the embassy compound, causing a fire and damage.

According to Ukrinform, The Guardian stated this in an article.

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense confirmed on social media that the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh was struck by at least two drones, resulting in a limited fire and minor structural damage to the building.

A loud explosion was heard early Tuesday morning, after which flames broke out. Black smoke rose over Riyadh's diplomatic quarter, where foreign missions are located.

According to the publication, there were no casualties, and the building was empty at the time.

As Ukrinform previously reported, the U.S. State Department urged American citizens to leave Middle Eastern countries as soon as possible due to serious security risks.
