Ukrainian air defenses down over 30,000 aerial targets in February

During February 2026, air defense units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed more than 30,000 aerial targets.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

In particular, the following were destroyed: three Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles; 10 Kalibr cruise missiles; 87 Kh-101 cruise missiles; seven Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles; 12 Iskander-K cruise missiles; 35 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles; eight Zircon anti-ship missiles; eight Kh-59/69 guided air-to-surface missiles.

In addition, air defenses destroyed: 3,238 Shahed-type attack UAVs; 682 reconnaissance UAVs; 26,008 UAVs of other types.

During February, Air Force aviation conducted 576 sorties, including: about 398 fighter patrol and air cover missions; more than 112 sorties for fire strikes and close air support of troops.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russia launched 738 missiles, more than 14,600 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 19,000 drones at Ukraine over the winter.
