Russia's war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,280 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to February 23, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to about 1,260,500 soldiers, of which 1,280 were killed in the past day. 

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

The Russian army also lost 11,706 (+2) tanks, 24,097 (+6) armored combat vehicles, 37,631 (+17) artillery systems, 1,659 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,305 air defense systems, 435 aircraft, 348 helicopters, 148,021 (+883) tactical UAVs, 4,384 (+37) cruise missiles, 29 ships/boats, 2 submarines, 80,180 (+136) vehicles and tankers, 4,075 special equipment.

Figures on enemy losses are being updated.

As Ukrinform reported, on February 26, as of 22:00, 206 combat engagements between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian invaders had taken place along the front line.
