Russian troops attack mosque in Kherson

In Kherson, Russian troops attacked a mosque, resulting in broken windows, damage to the facade and interior of the building.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration on Telegram.

“As a result of the shelling, windows were broken and the facade and interior of the building [the mosque of the Muslim religious community in Kherson] were damaged,” the report said.

It is noted that there were no casualties.

The RMA emphasized that even during the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims, the Russians are once again openly demonstrating that they have no religious values.

The RMA also reported that medical assistance was needed for a woman who was injured the day before due to Russian shelling of the central part of Kherson. The 61-year-old Kherson resident was diagnosed with blast trauma, concussion, and brain contusion. She will be treated on an outpatient basis.

Another woman who was injured during the Russian shelling of Kherson on February 24 also sought medical attention. The 23-year-old city resident was diagnosed with blast trauma and concussion. She is under medical supervision.

As reported by Ukrinform, five people were wounded in the Kherson region over the past day as a result of Russian aggression.
