Two civilians wounded in Chernihiv region due to Russian drone attack
Civilians were injured in two communities in the Chernihiv region due to an attack by Russian strike drones.
According to Ukrinform, Viacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“People were injured in the Mena and Baturyn communities due to an attack by strike drones,” Chaus said.
According to him, a house caught fire in the Mena community, and the 84-year-old owner was hospitalized. The residents' houses located nearby were damaged.
Homes were also damaged in the Baturyn community. As a result of the Russian attack, a 32-year-old resident was wounded, and a 17-year-old girl was injured.
In the village of the Koriukivka community, an FPV drone strike damaged a car and a farm building belonging to a consumer cooperative.
In the Semenivka community, a Molniya UAV struck an energy facility.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration specified that over the past day, Russian troops fired on the Chernihiv region 35 times, with 58 explosions recorded.
As reported by Ukrinform, on February 21, a farm burned down in the Ichnia community in the Chernihiv region due to a drone crash. A tractor and a truck were damaged.
