Victim toll of Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia climbs to nine
In Zaporizhzhia, the number of victims of the nighttime Russian strike has increased to nine.
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
Rescuers extinguished all fires caused by the strikes and surveyed the area to identify and help the injured.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 16 citizens.
Information on the number of victims is being clarified. They are receiving all necessary medical assistance.
Emergency rescue operations have been completed.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians launched at least 12 strikes on Zaporizhzhia in the morning, causing a fire in a high-rise building and damaging shopping centers. Seven people were reported injured.
