Russian forces are suffering significant irrecoverable losses in the area of responsibility of the Operation Task Force East, while Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to carry out combat missions.

Major Hryhorii Shapoval, Spokesperson for the Operation Task Force East, said this in a comment to Ukrinform.

“Ukrainian troops continue their rotations. The enemy is suffering enormous, irrecoverable losses in our area of responsibility,” he said.

According to Shapoval, just last week, 1,293 enemy personnel were killed and 822 wounded. Ukrainian forces also destroyed one tank, 159 vehicles and armored vehicles, eight artillery systems, 9,704 drones, 16 electronic warfare devices, five depots, and 676 fortifications.

“The more aggressively the enemy advances, the more losses they incur,” the spokesperson emphasized.

Shapoval added that the enemy has reduced the use of armored vehicles due to the effectiveness of Ukrainian FPV drones and increasingly relies on vehicles, motorcycles, and small infantry groups. There has also been a rise in destroyed electronic warfare equipment.
