Ukrainian air assault troops wipe out major Russian drone and ammo depot in Kursk region
Drone operators of the 80th Separate Air Assault Galician Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed a Russian depot containing UAVs, related equipment, ammunition, and vehicles in Russia’s Kursk region.
According to Ukrinform, the 80th Brigade reported this on Telegram and released corresponding video footage.
“We destroyed a large ammunition depot, along with drones and light equipment, on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the statement said.
“Galician paratroopers continue to defend the Sumy region. Strike UAV operators of the 80th Brigade are working to reduce the Russians’ assault potential by targeting their logistics. As a result, a large enemy depot was recently detected and destroyed in the Kursk region, where the enemy had concentrated a significant number of drones, ammunition, and related equipment, as well as light vehicles used by enemy drone crews,” the military noted.
The brigade emphasized that “the enemy believed nothing threatened them on their own territory, but forgot that such a concentration of valuable resources inevitably leads to their destruction.”
As previously reported by Ukrinform, drone pilots from the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade destroyed a Russian T-72 tank near Yampil in the Donetsk region.
