Russian troops launch air strike on Sumy, injuring two children

On Saturday, at around 4 a.m., Russian troops launched an air strike on Sumy, wounding three people, including two children.

According to Ukrinform, the National Police of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

“Today, at around 4 a.m., Russian troops launched an air strike on one of the private sectors of the city of Sumy. According to preliminary information, three people were injured, including two children aged 5 and 17, as well as a 70-year-old woman who was hospitalized,” the report said.

The victims are receiving the necessary medical care.

Police investigative teams, bomb disposal experts, and other specialized services are working at the scene.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops launched 20 strikes on the Sumy region over the past day, damaging residential infrastructure.
