Air Defense Forces destroy 107 of 128 Russian drones

Air Defense Forces destroyed 107 of 128 drones used by Russians to attack Ukraine since the evening of February 19.

According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

According to the report, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, the Russians attacked with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov region (the Russian Federation), as well as 128 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of UCAVs from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (the Russian Federation), and the temporarily occupied Donetsk. Approximately 80 of the drones were Shahed-type.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 20, Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed 107 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.

Ballistic missile strikes and 21 UCAVs were reported hitting 14 locations, as well as the fall of downed (debris) at one location.

As reported by Ukrinform, as a result of the Russian strike on the morning of February 20, presumably with an Iskander-M missile, one person was injured in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv.
