Border guards destroy 'Msta-S' self-propelled howitzer with drones in Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector
Fighters of the reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial systems unit Striks of the 4th Border Detachment eliminated a Russian occupiers' "Msta" self-propelled artillery system in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector.
According to Ukrinform, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stated this on its website and also released a corresponding video.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, aerial reconnaissance personnel and FPV drone operators of the Striks unit, acting as part of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, inflicted significant losses on the enemy's artillery.
"As part of a series of strikes, a 'Msta-S' self-propelled howitzer, as well as D-30 and D-20 howitzers, were destroyed. The precise work of unmanned systems made it possible to effectively hit the targets and significantly reduce the enemy's firepower in the designated area," the statement reads.
As Ukrinform previously reported, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a storage site for a Russian Iskander operational-tactical missile system and a control point of the Rubikon unit.
