Powerful explosions rock Belbek airfield in Crimea – social media
Temporarily occupied Crimea was targeted by drones from the evening of February 16 into the night of February 17. Powerful explosions were reported at the Belbek airfield in Sevastopol.
That is according to the Telegram channel Crimean Wind, Ukrinform reports.
"At 04:36, a powerful strike hit the Belbek airfield, followed by four successive muffled explosions, likely detonations," the message said.
Explosions at the Belbek airfield reportedly continued from the evening of February 16.
According to the Telegram channel, explosions were also heard in Kerch, at the Kacha airfield, in the Dzhankoi district, Feodosia, Novofedorivka, and Simferopol.
It was also reported that "following the Ukrainian attack, more than 16 trains bound for Crimea have been delayed."
