Russian forces attack 14 settlements in Sumy region over past day
From the morning of February 12 to the morning of February 13, Russian troops carried out nearly 20 strikes on 14 settlements in the Sumy region. Damage and destruction of civilian infrastructure facilities were recorded.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration stated this on Facebook.
The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.
The enemy used artillery, FPV drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, glide bombs, and also carried out a missile strike on the territory of the Sumy region.
In the Znob-Novhorodske community, a private residential house was damaged.
In the Shostka community, a private residential house was destroyed and a passenger car was damaged.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential house and outbuildings were damaged.
As a result of Russian shelling of the Sumy region over the past day, there were no civilian casualties.
As clarified by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, a 64-year-old man who had been injured on February 10 due to a strike by an enemy drone in the Seredyna-Buda community sought medical assistance.
Over the past day, 12 people were evacuated from border communities in the Sumy region.
