CinC Syrskyi reviews combat operations in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk regions
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, held a working meeting with commanders of Air Assault units and assault regiments to discuss the operational situation in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
This was reported by Syrskyi on Facebook, as covered by Ukrinform.
“I am working on the frontlines in the hot spots. At one of the command posts, I held a working meeting with commanders of Air Assault units and assault regiments regarding the operational situation in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. We analyzed the real situation on the frontline and the dynamics of combat operations,” Syrskyi stated.
Special attention during the meeting was given to coordination between units and command issues under conditions of high-intensity combat.
According to Syrskyi, the enemy continues to act aggressively, trying to impose its own initiative. However, Ukrainian units remain resilient and maintain control over key positions.
“Our goal is to keep the Russian aggressor under constant pressure, inflict losses, and prevent any forward advance. The tactics we have chosen are delivering results,” Syrskyi emphasized.
The meeting also addressed challenges affecting mission effectiveness, including logistics, equipment repair, and evacuation of the wounded. The Commander-in-Chief issued the necessary orders to meet the needs of the soldiers.
He expressed gratitude to every defender for their courage and professionalism.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Syrskyi noted that the rising losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine are partly a result of the implementation of the corps-level reform.
