Ukrainian National Guard wipes out Russian assault company near Pokrovsk
Soldiers of the 3rd Spartan Operational Brigade named after Colonel Petro Bolbochan of the National Guard of Ukraine repelled an attempted breakthrough by Russian forces near Pokrovsk, destroying a company of enemy assault troops over the course of two days.
According to Ukrinform, the brigade’s press service reported this on Facebook and released a video of the combat operations.
It is noted that National Guard troops, together with adjacent units, repelled another Russian offensive attempt and inflicted heavy losses. In particular, 127 assault troops were killed, nine invaders were wounded, and seven more were taken prisoner.
In addition, enemy equipment was destroyed, including 10 quad bikes, three light vehicles, and two motorcycles.
As Ukrinform previously reported, total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to February 9, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,247,580 personnel, including 1,250 over the past day.
