One killed, gas pipeline damaged in Russian drone attack on Odesa
One person was killed in a Russian drone attack on Odesa. Damage to residential infrastructure was recorded and fires broke out.
Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy carried out a massive attack on the Odesa region with strike drones. In the city of Odesa, preliminary reports indicate that residential infrastructure was damaged and fires broke out," he wrote.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, specified that the attack caused a fire on the roof of a high-rise building, damaged a gas pipeline, and ignited passenger cars and a non-residential building.
"All emergency and municipal services are working at the scene," he wrote.
Later, Lysak reported: "Unfortunately, it has emerged that one person was killed as a result of the enemy attack on Odesa."
