Enemy strikes railway infrastructure in Chernihiv region at night, several trains canceled
Russian troops attacked railway infrastructure in the Chernihiv region again at night.
According to Ukrinform, Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on Facebook.
The company reports that suburban and regional connections in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions will undergo temporary changes: Today, there will be no trains between Snovsk and Bakhmach.
Trains No. 66 Kyiv-Sumy and No. 114 Uzhhorod-Kharkiv were delayed due to power outages. Both have now caught up.
The Lozova-Barvinkove-Kramatorsk section in the Kharkiv region remains a high-risk area. Buses provide transportation there.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, enhanced monitoring of the security situation is in place, with the possibility of both train travel and bus transfers. Passengers are asked to listen carefully to the instructions of the train crews and station stewards.
As reported by Ukrinform, on February 7, after night attacks and enemy drone maneuvers, delays in passenger train traffic were reported in some regions of Ukraine, particularly in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernihiv regions.
