ROSHEN factory logistics hub destroyed in Yahotyn during Russian attack
In Yahotyn, Kyiv region, a Russian attack during the night of February 7 almost completely destroyed the logistics center of the ROSHEN confectionery factory.
Ukrinform reports this, citing a statement from Roshen.
“Our team was able to breathe a sigh of relief only at dawn – when it became clear that during this latest attack on the logistics center all employees were in shelters and no casualties occurred,” the company said.
At the same time, the statement notes that the largest warehouse of ROSHEN’s finished products was almost entirely destroyed.
The company thanked firefighters and the State Emergency Service team for their work in mitigating the consequences, as well as all Ukrainians for their support.
Roshen also announced that it is moving to 24-hour operations and has decided not to raise product prices.
Since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, ROSHEN has paid over UAH 21.6 billion in taxes to the national budget.
Previously, Ukrinform reported that on January 24, a Russian attack on ROSHEN’s factory in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district resulted in the death of a woman.
