Russian troops carry out nearly 1,300 strikes on Donetsk region in 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 1,285 strikes on the Donetsk region, destroying 56 civilian objects.
According to Ukrinform, the Donetsk region police reported this on Telegram.
“On February 5, the police recorded 1,285 Russian shellings along the front line and in the residential sector of the region... Fifty-six civilian objects were destroyed, including 34 residential buildings,” the report said.
It is noted that eight settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, Sloviansk, the towns of Novodonetske, Cherkaske, and the villages of Maiaky and Pryvillia.
In particular, Sloviansk was shelled five times. Here, the Russians struck the city with two KAB-250 bombs, an FPV drone, and two Geran-2 UAVs, damaging one apartment building and six private houses, a fire station, and four civilian cars.
The enemy attacked Kramatorsk with two FPV drones, damaging a private house and a civilian car. In addition, today, at around 1:30 a.m., an enemy drone hit the roof of a market.
As a result of drone attacks, two private houses were damaged in Druzhkivka; in Mykolaivka, two apartment buildings, a store, an infrastructure facility, and three cars were damaged; in Cherkaske, two private houses and a vehicle were damaged.
The occupiers dropped a KAB-250 on Maiaky, damaging a private house.
The Russian troops twice shelled Pryvillia with Smerch multiple rocket launchers, damaging 19 private homes and nine civilian vehicles.
As reported by Ukrinform, since the beginning of 2026, 79 people who agreed to be evacuated from the Donetsk region have been resettled free of charge in safe regions of Ukraine.
