Voloshyn debunks Russian fake claiming wounded not evacuated in Huliaipole sector

Information spread by Russian media alleging that severely wounded Ukrainian soldiers are not being evacuated in the Huliaipole sector is not true.

This was stated by Vladyslav Voloshyn, Spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South, in a comment to Ukrinform.

“This is an outright fake, because evacuation takes place as soon as there is even the slightest opportunity to safely evacuate our wounded. They are taken from there in order to provide all the necessary assistance. Everything depends on the operational situation,” Voloshyn said.

He also dismissed a video that Russian propaganda presents as evidence.

“A few weeks ago, the Russians even filmed such a video to ‘prove’ it… This is also a blatant fake, because even from the video it is clear that these are not Ukrainian servicemen… but Russian propaganda claims they are Ukrainian fighters,” the spokesperson noted.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russian propaganda is spreading claims that a unit of the 17th Special Forces Center of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was allegedly destroyed on a train hit by a drone in the Kharkiv region.
