Russian strikes on Kharkiv region leave 16 injured over past day, including two children
Over the past day, February 3, Kharkiv and 11 other settlements in the Kharkiv region were under Russian attacks, leaving 16 people injured, including two children.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, stated this on Facebook.
According to him, in Kharkiv, women aged 23, 57, 84, 85, 85, and 90, as well as men aged 57 and 28, were injured. In the village of Kamiana Yaruga of the Chuhuiv community, a 75-year-old and a 22-year-old woman, a 20-year-old man, a 10-year-old girl, and a 5-month-old boy were injured. In the village of Zarichne of the Staryi Saltiv community, a 78-year-old woman and an 84-year-old man were injured. In the village of Lypchanivka of the Kunie community, a 72-year-old woman was injured.
Medics also provided assistance to a 45-year-old man who had been injured on February 1 as a result of a strike on the village of Khotimlia of the Staryi Saltiv community.
The enemy attacked with UAVs and shelled the Saltivskyi, Novobavarskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv using multiple launch rocket systems, Syniehubov noted.
The Russians shelled the Kharkiv region using two MLRS systems, dropped seven guided aerial bombs, attacked with four "Geran-2" drones, one "Lancet" UAV, four "Molniya" UAVs, three FPV drones, and another 15 drones of an unidentified type.
In Kharkiv, seven apartment buildings, a warehouse facility, and power networks were damaged.
In the Bohodukhiv district, an outbuilding (village of Hubanivka) and a shop (Zolochiv) were damaged.
In the Izium district, two private houses were damaged (village of Lypchanivka).
In the Kharkiv district, a car (village of Ruski Tyshky), a paramedic station (village of Siriaky), and a private house (Liubotyn) were damaged.
In the Chuhuiv district, five private houses and power lines were damaged (village of Zarichne), two private houses (village of Kamiana Yaruga), and one private house (village of Yurchenkove).
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 106 people over the past day. In total, since the start of its operation, 18,078 people have been registered at the point.
As Ukrinform reported, due to massive Russian strikes on critical infrastructure in Kharkiv, it was necessary to drain the heat carrier from hundreds of apartment buildings in order to preserve internal heating systems. A total of 853 buildings remain without heat, while 300 have been connected to modular boiler houses.
