Russian strikes damage residential buildings, educational institution in Konotop

In Konotop, Sumy region, a Russian drone attack damaged an educational facility, private houses, and infrastructure facilities.

Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"We have damage [reported] to a children's educational institution (a school) in one of the city's neighborhoods," he wrote.

Private houses and infrastructure facilities were also damaged.

One private residential house was destroyed. Later, Semenikhin added: "People are alive. All services are working. Starting early in the morning, those affected will be provided with alternative housing."

Also starting early in the morning, according to Semenikhin, a commission will be working at the site to document the consequences of the enemy strike.
