Partisans strike Russian communications system in Kherson region
Agents of the Atesh partisan movement struck an enemy communications system and weakened the electronic warfare capabilities of Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.
The Atesh partisan movement announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
On the Arabat Spit, near the settlement of Strilkove, an Atesh agent disabled the transformer cabinet of a communications tower. EW antennas installed on the tower are also currently not functioning.
As a result of the damage, the equipment ceased to operate normally and is now largely non-functional, creating an "air window" for UAV strikes against the occupiers in Crimea.
"The actions of Atesh agents demonstrate that even remote and seemingly well-protected sites remain vulnerable. Pressure on infrastructure continues to erode the occupiers' capabilities and deprive them of any sense of security in the rear," the statement said.
