Defense Forces refute enemy's complete occupation of Orikhovo-Vasylivka in Donetsk region

The Defense Forces have refuted reports circulating in some media outlets about the alleged complete occupation of Orikhovo-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region.

This was stated in a Facebook post by the Operation Task Force "East", according to Ukrinform.

“Recently, some Ukrainian media outlets have spread false information that the village of Orikhovo-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region is allegedly under complete enemy control. We would like to inform you that this information is not true,” the post says.

It is emphasized that Ukrainian troops continue to remain in the area of the settlement, holding their positions. Servicemen of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade repel enemy attacks and destroy its manpower, despite significant pressure from the enemy.

“The situation remains difficult and dynamic, but claims of complete occupation of the settlement are premature and incorrect,” the Operation Task Force "East" said.
