Russians strike 36 settlements in Sumy region over past day, leaving seven injured
Russian forces carried out strikes on 36 settlements in the Sumy region over the previous day, leaving seven people wounded, including two children.
According to Ukrinform, the communications department of the Sumy Regional Police stated this on its website.
The largest number of strikes were recorded in Sumy and Shostka districts.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a UAV strike on a residential building injured a 59-year-old woman and her two grandchildren, aged 8 and 11.
In the Znob-Novhorodske community, a UAV attack injured a 52-year-old man.
In the Sad community, a hostile drone strike injured a 36-year-old man.
In the Okhtyrka community, a UAV hit a residential building, wounding a 48-year-old woman.
In the Esman community, a hostile drone strike wounded a 60-year-old woman.
In addition, damage to 10 private houses and vehicles was recorded in other communities across the region.
In all cases, investigators of the Sumy Regional Police opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
As Ukrinform previously reported, the Russian army shelled the Sumy community, damaging the roof of a residential building and a vehicle.
