Russian drone hits high-rise building in Kharkiv, injuries reported

A Russian drone has struck a high-rise residential building in Kharkiv, leaving people injured.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“As a result of an enemy strike on a high-rise building, there are injured people,” Terekhov wrote.

Earlier, he had reported that a drone hit a shopping center in the Saltivskyi district, but later specified that, according to the Situation Center, the strike actually hit a residential high-rise building near the shopping center.

According to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the enemy drone strike on a residential high-rise was recorded in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi district.

“Window glazing was damaged. According to preliminary information, one person was injured,” Syniehubov said.

As reported earlier, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 11 settlements in the region over the past day. Two people were injured as a result of the shelling.
