Death toll from Russian strike on civilian car in Kharkiv region rises to three
A 68-year-old woman has died in hospital after being injured in a Russian drone strike on a civilian car in the village of Prudianka, Derhachi community, Kharkiv region.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Unfortunately, a 68-year-old woman who was wounded in an enemy UAV strike near the village of Prudianka has died in hospital," the statement reads.
The official noted that medical staff had been trying to save the woman's life for over a day, but her injuries were too severe.
Earlier reports said that Russian forces had struck the border area of the Kharkiv region, killing two people and injuring three others.
