Russian attacks leave one killed, two injured in Dnipropetrovsk region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and two others were injured, including a child, as a result of Russian attacks.
Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha reported this on Telegram, as cited by Ukrinform.
“Russian terror in the region has again led to tragedy. In the Nikopol district, a 72-year-old man was killed. Our deepest condolences to his family. Two others were injured in the attacks – an 11-year-old girl and a 49-year-old woman, who will recover at home,” Hanzha stated.
He noted that the enemy shelled the district throughout the day using FPV drones and artillery.
Explosions were reported in the Nikopol, Pokrovske, Chervonohryhorivka, Marhanets, and Myrove communities.
As many as 17 private houses, 13 outbuildings, greenhouses, and vehicles were damaged; one outbuilding was completely destroyed.
“Drones and kamikaze UAVs were also directed at the Synelnykove district. The affected communities were Synelnykove, Pokrovske, Zaitseve, and Rozdorske,” Hanzha said.
Infrastructure, five homes, and a store were damaged.
“The Mahdalynivka community in the Samara district was also hit by a drone attack,” the head of the RMA added. A private house was damaged.
Additionally, in Zatyshne community of the Kamianske district, Russian UAVs damaged infrastructure, and a fire broke out in Kryvyi Rih, which was quickly extinguished.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that on the night of January 21, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, followed by drone attacks on January 22.
