Russians attack school building with drones yesterday in Semenivka, Chernihiv region
In the city of Semenivka in Chernihiv region, during the day on January 22, Russian forces attacked a school building with strike drones; the building houses a point of invincibility.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Yesterday during the day, the Russians attacked a school building in Semenivka with Molniya drones. Two explosions. The premises were damaged. Children in border areas are studying remotely precisely because of the threat of such strikes. Fortunately, at the moment of impact there were no people nearby and no one was injured. Although the building itself houses a point of invincibility, where residents come simply to recharge their phones. Therefore, this is yet another strike against an entirely civilian target," Chaus said.
He noted that over the past day Russian troops shelled border communities in the region 23 times, with 34 explosions recorded.
As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of January 22 a Russian drone exploded in Chernihiv between residential buildings.
