Pilots from the Pentagon Battalion's interceptors shot down a Russian Knyaz Veshchy Oleg reconnaissance drone, the cutting-edge development from the aggressor country, in the skies over Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Pentagon Battalion of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The drone is fiber optic. It can operate at a distance of up to 40 km, providing reconnaissance, fire adjusting, and monitoring the results of combat drones. The main advantage of this UAV, as noted by the battalion with reference to enemy sources, is its “high viability.”
