Woman killed in Kherson in Russian shelling

A woman was killed in the Dnipro district of Kherson as a result of Russian shelling; her identity is being established.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Alexander Prokudin.

"At noon, the Russians once again shelled the Dnipro district of Kherson. A woman was hit by enemy fire. She was taken to the hospital in extremely serious condition, where she died from her injuries," the report said.

According to the Regional Military Administration, the woman suffered shrapnel wounds to her chest. Doctors fought for her life until the very end, but her injuries proved fatal. Experts are currently working to identify the victim.

Also, according to the RMA, two people whose car was attacked by Russians the day before near the village of Sadove were taken to the hospital. Preliminary reports indicate that a 58-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman suffered blast injuries. Doctors are examining and treating the victims.

Also, according to the RMA, on the evening of January 20, Russian troops once again attacked the Korabelny district of Kherson. An enemy shell pierced the roof of a private house and flew into the dwelling.

An unexploded cluster munition fell in one of the rooms. No one was injured as a result of this strike.

As reported by Ukrinform, 10 people, including one child, were injured in the Kherson region over the past day as a result of Russian aggression.
