Russian attack costs Ukraine about EUR 80 M in air defense missiles - Zelensky
Today's Russian attack cost Ukraine EUR 80 million in missiles for air defense systems alone.
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during a conversation with journalists.
"Today's Russian attack cost us, and this is only the cost of the missiles, about €80 million. Imagine, that's the cost of these missiles. And every day we are doing everything, and I am doing everything, to ensure that we receive the appropriate missiles and the appropriate protection for people," Zelensky said.
According to him, it is very difficult to “find these missiles and get the money for them.”
“War is a very expensive Russian luxury. And for us, it means huge losses,” the president added.
As reported by Ukrinform, on January 20, the Air Defense Forces worked on a significant number of Russian targets, as Ukraine had received the necessary missiles the day before the strike.
On the night of January 20, air defense units hit 342 enemy targets, including 14 Iskander-M/S-300 ballistic missiles, 13 Kh-101 cruise missiles, and 315 enemy UAVs.
