Defense Forces capture Russian serviceman responsible for execution of Ukrainian prisoners in Kursk region

The Defense Forces captured a Russian who was responsible for the execution of Ukrainian prisoners in October last year in the Kursk region.

Zelensky stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"A report by Oleksandr Poklad [First Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine]. The Russian serviceman responsible for the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war in October of last year in the Kursk region has been taken captive. Every Russian murderer must be held accountable for their actions. And so it will be. We are also countering Russian sabotage in the rear – I thank the Security Service of Ukraine for protecting our citizens," he stated.

As previously reported, Zelensky also received a report from the acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Yevhenii Khmara, and approved new combat operations.
