“ATESH”: Kremlin plans to transfer Mariupol’s resources under control of Kadyrov’s forces

The Russian authorities plan to hand over Mariupol's resources to the Akhmat units in exchange for the loyalty of the Chechen leadership.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the ATESH partisan movement on Telegram.

“ATESH agents in occupied Mariupol have received reliable information about Moscow's plans to transfer the city and the entire surrounding region under the complete control of groups from Chechnya. Additional Akhmat units are already being brought into the city, whose task is to finally monopolize Grozny's influence over local resources,” the message says.

According to the partisans, Kadyrov's forces are primarily interested in the enormous industrial potential of the destroyed Mariupol.

In particular, with the Kremlin's permission, the city is effectively being given over to looting in exchange for loyalty, with no consideration for the interests of local residents or ordinary Russian collaborators.

As noted, local residents are increasingly noticing a large number of Caucasian soldiers with “Akhmat” insignia on the streets of the city, traveling in expensive SUVs without license plates or with fake plates.

Such demonstrative behavior confirms their confidence in complete impunity and their status as the new “masters” of the region.

“We are closely monitoring the locations of these ‘businessmen’ in uniform and recording the routes of their elite vehicles,” ATESH emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, the drama theater in Mariupol, which is temporarily occupied by Russians, is effectively closed, despite its high-profile propaganda opening.
