In Kharkiv region, Russian troops strike police car heading to evacuate people
In the Kharkiv region, during the evacuation of residents, a Russian drone destroyed a police car.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kharkiv Region Police Communication Department.
On the evening of January 14, on the highway in the Chuhuiv district, during the evacuation of the civilian population by the police of the police department №1 of the Chuhuiv district police department, an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle hit a car.
As a result of the attack, the police car was destroyed. A fire broke out on the spot.
Investigators documented the consequences of the shelling and another fact of armed aggression by the Russian Federation. Information about the event was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Art. 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The police of the Kharkiv region urge citizens not to postpone their evacuation, to leave dangerous territories promptly, and not to expose themselves or others to risk, particularly those participating in evacuation measures.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians attacked an evacuation vehicle in the Sumy region with a drone. The police were injured.
