Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,030 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces in personnel from February 24, 2022, to January 9, 2026, have reached approximately 1,216,930, of which 1,030 were eliminated in the past 24 hours.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

As of January 9, Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed: 11,526 (+5) enemy tanks, 23,882 (+8) armored combat vehicles, 35,892 (+18) artillery systems, 1,596 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,269 (+0) air defense systems, 434 (+0) aircraft, 347 (+0) helicopters, 102,761 (+687) tactical and operational UAVs, 4,137 (+0) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) warships/boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 73,426 (+90) vehicles and fuel trucks, 4,037 (+0) specialized military vehicles of the Russian army.
