Russians attack US-owned factory in Dnipro, spilling 300 tons of oil onto roads
Russian troops attacked the Dnipro oil extraction plant, spilling 300 tons of oil onto the roads.
This was reported on Telegram by the mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, according to Ukrinform.
"As a result of the drone attack, 300 tons of oil spilled onto the roads of Dnipro! Municipal workers are cleaning up, spreading sand and a mixture, but it will be impossible to drive along the embankment for about 2-3 days. Therefore, when you are stuck in traffic jams on the road, please do not swear, but say words of gratitude to those who work in these conditions. Follow the official resources of the city council. We will provide information about public transport and road closures," Filatov wrote.
He noted that this is purely a civilian production facility. It is a plant owned by Bunge, a company based in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Bunge website states that the Dnipro Oil Extraction Plant operates in Dnipro, a sunflower seed processing enterprise with fully integrated processing, refining, and bottling processes.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Kharkiv, damaging civilian production facilities and injuring at least five people.
