Russian shelling leaves two civilians killed, two wounded over past day in Kherson region

In the Kherson region, on January 2, two civilians were killed and two others sustained injuries as a result of Russian aggression.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Due to Russian aggression, two people were killed and two others were wounded," Prokudin wrote.

According to him, over the course of the day Kherson and another 25 settlements in the region were subjected to enemy drone terror, air strikes, and artillery shelling.

Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas. As a result of the shelling, three apartment buildings and three private houses were damaged, along with a cellular tower, an outbuilding, a kiosk, and private vehicles.

As reported earlier, on January 1 in the Kherson region, one person was killed and seven others were injured as a result of Russian aggression.
