Since start of full-scale war, SES pyrotechnicians have defused over 638,000 explosive devices

Since the start of the full-scale war, pyrotechnicians from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have defused 638,064 explosive devices.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, SES specialists have defused 638,064 explosive devices, including 5,051 aircraft bombs, and surveyed an area of over 194,526 hectares.

Pyrotechnic units worked most often in the Kharkiv region – 53,000 times, 298 times, Kherson – 28,072 times, Donetsk – 18,325 times, Kyiv – 16,574 times, Mykolaiv – 12,586 times, Chernihiv – 8,479 times, and Sumy – 7,090 times.

During the day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were called out 52 times, detected, seized, and defused 66 explosive objects, and surveyed an area of 16.55 hectares.

As reported by Ukrinform, the engineering troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Support Forces defused and destroyed 960,767 explosive devices in 2025.
